Sandi Is Going To Broadway!

SANDI IS GOING TO BROADWAY

“The voice” of Christian music is going to Broadway. Sandi Patty releases her debut American Pops album “Broadway Stories” on October 18. Featuring songs from iconic musicals like “The Music Man,” “Hello Dolly!” and “Showboat”, the 5-time Grammy Award winner shows her vocal prowess through some of the most well-known pieces from stage and screen. Highlights on the album include a medley of music from “The Sound of Music,” a collection of songs typically sung by men but done in Sandi’s own style on “A Doll Sings The Guys,” the haunting rendition of “Send In the Clowns” and the show-stopping finale “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Recorded in Prague, Czech Republic, with a lush 64 piece Symphony Orchestra and under the conduction of Maestro Jack Everly, Sandi’s upcoming new album is being described as a “highlight of her musical career.” You have the option to day to download one of the songs from Sandi’s new album through the pre-sale options on www.sandipatty.com.

Sandi Patty & Friends show in Anderson, IN has been postponed

The Sandi Patty & Friends show scheduled for August 21 at Madison Park Church in Anderson, IN at 6pm has been postponed to September 11, 2011. Here’s some more information from Sandi:

“Due to the unexpected death of a very close member of Larnelle’s family and friends, we have decided to postpone the Sandi Patty & Friends show until September 11. We want to honor Larnelle’s time and give he and his family the opportunity to grieve the loss in their lives. On September 11, 2011, you can expect to see all of the friends together. Larnelle, Wayne, Heather, Jim and I will all be there. We also know that this September 11th has a unique significance as the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and the horrible tragedy our country faced through acts of terrorism. We will use this concert to pay tribute to the lives that were lost and honor our country through song and worship. In addition to songs like “Another Time and Another Place” and “I’ve Just Seen Jesus” you will also hear renditions of “The Star Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America.” It will truly be a night of inspiration. We thank you so much for your understanding. I ask that you join with us in prayer for Larnelle and his family. We apologize for the inconvenience that this change has caused. If you have already purchased a ticket, just bring that with you on September 11. Your spot is reserved. For more information about the show, please visit www.sandipatty.com I can’t wait to see you there!”
